Terms of service
In effect from 20 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you, the merchant who installs Restoc, and Kaleido Ltd, who operates it. Installing the app or using the dashboard means you accept them.
What the service does
Restoc reads the products, inventory levels and orders of the Shopify store you connect, using only the permissions you grant at install. From that it works out a reorder point per SKU from your sales velocity and the lead time you enter, sends an alert when a SKU crosses that point, and produces a weekly report of what to order.
It does not place orders, contact your suppliers, or change anything in your Shopify store. The read permissions it asks for are the only access it has.
Your account and your store
You need an account with an email address and a password, and you must be authorised to administer the Shopify store you connect. Keep your sign-in details to yourself: anything done with your account is treated as done by you.
Trial, plans and billing
A new store starts on a free trial of 30 days. Nothing is charged until your first full weekly reorder report has run, so you see the product do its job before you pay for it.
Subscriptions are charged through Shopify. You approve the charge in your Shopify admin and it appears on your Shopify invoice; we never take a card payment of our own, and we hold no card details.
Every plan is sold on two billing periods: monthly, or once a year at about 17% less than twelve monthly payments. You choose the period when you pick the plan. The price shown to you then is the amount Shopify is asked to charge, and it recurs each period until you change plan or cancel.
Each plan tracks up to a set number of SKUs. The cap is enforced when your store syncs, not just displayed, so a sync stops at the cap rather than quietly tracking more than you pay for.
- Starter
- Up to 200 tracked SKUs
- Growth
- Up to 1,000 tracked SKUs
- Pro
- Up to 2,000 tracked SKUs
You can change plan or cancel at any time from billing settings. Cancelling there, or uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin, ends the subscription. Shopify takes the payment and handles any refund of it; tell us if something has gone wrong and we will support your request.
Reorder points are estimates
Every reorder point, days-of-inventory figure and suggested order quantity is an estimate calculated from your own recent sales and the lead time you entered. Demand changes, suppliers are late, and a SKU with little sales history has little to calculate from. Treat the numbers as a prompt to review, not a guarantee against a stockout, and not a promise of any particular result for your business.
Acceptable use
Do not connect a store you are not authorised to administer, resell or redistribute the service, attempt to break into it or overload it, or use it in a way that breaches Shopify's own terms. We may suspend an account that does, and will tell you why where we can.
Availability
We work to keep the service running and the scheduled jobs on time, but we do not offer a guaranteed uptime or a service credit, and Shopify's own availability and rate limits are outside our control. Alerts depend on the data your store gives us.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost sales, lost profits, or stock you did or did not order on the strength of an estimate. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time: uninstall the app from your Shopify admin, or delete your account, which cancels any active charge and removes everything stored about your store. We may end the agreement if a payment fails and stays unpaid, or for a breach of the acceptable use section above.
Changes to these terms
The current wording is always on this page, with the date it took effect at the top. If we change it in a way that affects what you pay or what the service does, the new wording is published here before it applies to you. Using the service after that date means you accept it.
Independence
Shopify retired its built-in Stocky inventory app on 31 August 2025. Restoc is an independent replacement for that one job, knowing when to reorder, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Shopify.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
Who publishes this, and how to reach us
Restoc is operated by Kaleido Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17516332, whose registered office is at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ.
